Have you read the Quran from cover to cover? In Arabic? How about in your own language? Is this something that you haven’t quite gotten around to? Have you read it before but now it’s getting a bit dusty? Do you feel guilty about not making time for it?

I was online and came across another blog that had a Quran challege this year before Ramadan and it gave me the idea to do the same. I want to read the entire Quran before Ramadan starts, InshaALLAH. I will keep you posted from time to time so that you can see how that’s going.

How about you? Are there any takers? Would you like to start reading the Quran (in any language) cover to cover before Ramadan starts? Come on, I know you can do it! You will be doing something wonderful and get rid of that guilty feeling. InshaALLAH, I hope that you join me.

After a good google search, I decided to read 21 ayat a day. Here is a list of all the surahs in the Quran. I think it’s best to do it by ayat instead of surah, as  some(like Al-Baqarah) as really long!
